Household Hazardous Waste Collection Days

In December 2003, the Minister for the Environment announced the establishment of a program which will capture, recycle or safely dispose of Household Hazardous Wastes (HHW) in Western Australia. Commitment to this program has been extended until 2011 and is assisted with the funding of the Waste Authority.

Fluorescent Globes and tubes are included in these collections as they are classified as Household Hazardous Waste. All collection days are open and free to the public. Follow the link for the 2010 collection dates http://www.wastenet.net.au/programs/hhwprog.

Commercial quantities of compact fluorescent tubes, globes and lamps can be collected by CMA Ecocycle.
