2010
CGS Round 1 for 2010 has now closed.
Best of luck to all applicants! Assessments are underway and all applicants will be advised of the outcomes in due course via email. The assessment process for CGS grants is comprehensive, and takes a number of months, so please be patient.
Zerowaste Newsletter subscribers will be advised automatically by email when the round opens. (Sign-up here)
Previous CGS funded projects have:
- run community awareness roadshows to educate and engage the community to take action towards waste reduction, through fun innovative and interactive activities.
- assisted in the purchase of equipment to help improve and expand existing successful community recycling centres, and also training to volunteers through workshops.
- educated Indigenous communities about the importance of responsible waste disposal and recycling, through workshops, community cleanups and the provision of recycling trailers for ongoing sustainable recycling.
Please note: Funding limits for CGS projects are $20,000 per project.
Applications must be received by 5pm Friday 12th March 2010
No late submissions will be accepted.
How to Apply
Out of Session Grant applications will not be accepted.
Please read the guidelines for applicants before making a submission.
Applicants should submit an application that in general terms describes their ideas, issues or proposals and specify the amount of funding required.
The Waste Authority will select the applications that are considered to be the best fit with current priority areas and that complement the work being undertaken for the Waste Authority.
