Review of C&D recycling policy and regulation

The Waste Authority, appointed under part 2 of the Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Act 2007, will be responsible for developing a Waste Strategy for the whole of Western Australia. Past strategies and policies have been based on the Strategic Direction for Waste Management in Western Australia, first published in 2004 and now embodied in the Directions Statement, released in September 2011. This document is available below.
