Local Government Minister John Castrilli has welcomed the 2009 Grants Directory, providing community members and local governments seeking funding, access to view more than 110 grants in the one place.
"The latest online 2009 Grants Directory allows access to grants offered by the State and Federal Government and private sector organisations,” he said. The directory provides a comprehensive list of grant funding available in Western Australia.
“Grants are offered in a variety of areas including arts and culture; the environment; indigenous development; science; sport and recreation; and youth,” the Minister said. Every grant program listed in the directory provides information on the funding amounts, who can apply and closing dates for submitting applications.
“The directory has a proven history as a valuable resource for people looking for assistance to fund worthwhile projects,” he said. “I encourage local governments and community organisations to view the directory and take advantage of the funding available.”
