Tyres - Banning from Landfill or Mandatory Recycling - Comment Invited

The Department of Environment and Conservation, on behalf of the Waste Management Board, engaged Sustainable Strategic Solutions (S3) to undertake a examination of the potential environmental, social and economic impacts of either banning the disposal of tyres to landfill, requiring that they be recycled, or requiring some form of pre-treatment prior to landfilling.
